Pieter Boels
Pieter Boels
Future Hope
Pieter Boels is a graphic artist known for his striking custom typography and bold visuals. His work blends graphic design, hand lettering and painting, creating a signature style that moves fluidly between the commercial and artistic worlds. With over 15 years of experience, much of it as an independent creative force, he has partnered with both local and international clients across a wide range of industries.
In addition to his freelance commissions, Pieter enjoys immersing himself in self-initiated artistic projects. In these pieces, legibility often takes a back seat, inviting viewers to slow down and engage in a more thoughtful exploration. The work is frequently layered—both in meaning and execution—drawing inspiration from pop culture, modernist aesthetics, and contemporary social issues. While Pieter doesn’t shy away from serious themes, his use of color and tongue-in-cheek humour keep his art vibrant and playful.
