About the artist
De feiten: Edouard Ernest Emile Victor Schneider werd in 1995 geboren in Moeskroen. Tekenender is allicht dat Edouard iets heeft met bananen — in die mate dat hij ooit een groot gebouw vol spoot met banaansjablonen. Maar misschien nog relevanter is dat Edouard meester graficus is, inwoner van een wereld waarin typografie zich in het bold buigt naar optische illusie, waarin ritmiek de regelmaat bepaalt van de grafiek. Edouard grossiert in geometrische spielerei, die kunst grafisch maakt en grafiek kunst, zoals de patronen, grids en texturen die hij maakte voor zijn solo expo in Galerie Rufus in Gent. Als helft van ontwerpbureau Letterlik lettert hij voor klanten, doet hij het niet dan ontwerpt Edouard in zijn hoedanigheid expomuren vol met eigen werk.
