All prints will be produced with uttermost care and love, and we strive for the highest standard of quality. We aim to ship within 4 weeks once the timeframe is closed. About the artist
Broos Stoffels is grafisch ontwerper en art director, gevestigd in Brussel. Hij studeerde in 2014 af aan de academische grafisch ontwerp opleiding van Sint-Lucas Gent en liep vervolgens stage bij Studio HelloMe in Berlijn.
Broos ontwerpt analoge en digitale media en is geïnteresseerd in de overlap tussen beide domeinen. Met zijn geëngageerde aanpak gaat hij steeds op zoek naar visuele systemen die hij toepast binnen huisstijlen, publicaties, campagnes, scenografieën en websites.

Ik heb me laten inspireren door onze gemeenschappelijke naam ‘Stoffel’. Sint-Christoffel is de beschermheilige van de reizigers. Ik wou reizen dan ook als centraal thema gebruiken, en heb uit de gigantische collectie houtblokken verschillende zeetaferelen gebruikt om een collage te maken van een boot. Deze lijkt op het eerste zicht te kloppen, maar in detail klopt het perspectief niet en gaan de zeilen alle kanten uit.
Ik vind het fijn om iets nieuw te ‘knutselen’ met deze schat aan beeldmateriaal en om de kenmerkende texturen in elkaar te laten overvloeien. Het leek mij een fijn idee om het ontwerp als een samenwerking te zien tussen meerdere Stoffels.
